Saudi Aramco

Anyone unsure of the degree of uplift that the rising oil price post Ukraine has had need only look at oil giant Saudi Aramco’s latest quarterly profit release. Up from USD 21.7 billion to USD 39 billion this 80% increase has sent Aramco’s shares soaring. Needless to say this has in turn meant that the Saud’s Arabian economy is showing its highest growth rate for 10 years. Oil WTI $110.

Not a typo. This is to do with Supernal Electric Air Vehicles also known as Flying Taxis and their development in Coventry England. Measuring 40 metres in wingspan Urban Airports are leading the charge with these vehicles as they compete with competitor SkyPorts in the race to get this new form of personal transport airborne. GBP not responding (yet) to this innovative burst in the Midlands with GBP/USD 1.2230

Before you reach for your Acronym Dictionary that stands for the UK’s National Federation of Fish Fryers and their members are in trouble. Up to 50% of the UKs sunflower oil used for frying the fish and chips comes from Ukraine and 40% of the haddock and cod from Russia. Put this together and up to a third of the UK’s fish bars are facing closure. No oil, no fish so it’s grilled vegan burger and chips anyone?
