As part of a yearly tradition, I had the privilege of attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, held in July at the iconic Goodwood House. This year’s edition was undoubtedly one of the most ambitious yet. Under the theme “The Winning Formula – Champions & Challengers”, the event celebrated 75 years of the Formula 1 World Championship, while showcasing an incredible mix of cutting-edge hypercars, legendary classics, and adrenaline-fueled Hillclimb runs.
The highlight for me was witnessing the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear obliterate the production car hill record. With a staggering 1,603 bhp, reduced weight, and extreme aerodynamic downforce, it reaffirmed Goodwood’s status as the ultimate proving ground for automotive innovation.
But for me, the Festival of Speed is about more than just cars — it’s the atmosphere. The entire day buzzed with energy, often described as “too hot to handle”, capped off by yet another breathtaking aerial display from the Red Arrows, leaving the crowd in awe.

This is the biggest head race (long distance rowing race) in the country, hosting crews not just from the country but the world, in all 375 crews were entered, totalling 3,000 rowers. Whilst I hadn’t really […]
