This Bonfire Night, I swapped fireworks for stage pyrotechnics, I spent the evening watching Benson Boone light up the O2. The evening was filled with out-there outfits, insane vocals and backflips off grand pianos. Benson Boone is a true showman, and a modern-day Freddie Mercury reincarnate, my mother would adore him!
Thanks to my ever-resourceful friend, I was fortunate enough to experience the concert from the VIP area. We breezed past queues, were given exclusive merchandise and then settled into the most spectacular view. From that vantage point, the immersive lights, the exceptional band and the sheer energy from the crowd felt electric! Everyone within our area was wonderful and made the evening such a lovely experience.
The final encore consisted of Benson Boone hanging off a chandelier from the stadium roof within a haze of confetti and theatrical fireworks. Boone’s stage presence was magnetic, although from the sea of phones throughout the arena, I am sure more of the crowd watched the performance through their phones! All in all, it was a phenomenal evening, the production itself was world-class and could rival any Bonfire Night display.

Exploring how European football clubs have been bought by some of the world’s […]
