I have recently begun one of the most incredible journeys of my life in becoming a father for the first time. In the months building up to the grand arrival, our world was full of classes, a constant stream of deliveries and preparing the home for our child. And I thought that was tiring.
In July 2024, we welcomed our son into the world and even in my most exhausted and delirious state would not change anything. It has been a steep learning curve which continues to keep me guessing and learning but in the first month I have watched my son grow and develop with each passing day.
I am so proud of my wife who has been incredible from start to date and we have been very fortunate to have such a supportive group of family and friends who have all been eager to come meet our boy.
Without trying to plagiarize Jamie’s announcement in 2023 too strongly, my life has certainly changed forever, and I feel extremely lucky to be greeted at the end of the working day with a cheeky smile from my happy baby boy.
