Recently my wife and I had the opportunity to visit capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague! The exploration of the city nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires” included time spent exploring the cobblestoned hub of landmark attractions in Old Town taking in the sights of the colorful baroque buildings, the Old Town City Hall and Tyn Cathedral.
From there we crossed Charles Bridge and made the climb from there to the famous Prague Castle. Recorded as the largest coherent castle complex in the world, Prague Castle was certainly worth exploring and we would always recommend it to anyone visiting Prague. Strolling through the castle courtyards and visiting the stunning Cathedral of Saints Vitus.
Although you certainly have to wrap up in plenty of layers, we had no problem seeking warmth amongst the welcoming bars and restaurants in which could not fault a single meal or drink which was on offer. Prague was a destination which we will gladly return to again and we would recommend to anyone looking at potential destinations for City breaks in the future.
