February opened the perfect window for travel, and I decided to tick the next destination off my must-visit list: Rome!
In short, Rome stole my heart. The city is like walking through a living museum – every corner reveals ancient ruins and rich history. Walking 30,000 steps a day felt like nothing. The weather, though, wasn’t on our side, with rainy days dominating the trip. But it only added to the charm by keeping tourist crowds at bay. Every step was worth it.
Italian food deserves its own spotlight – calories don’t count there! The creamy carbonara, wood-fired pizza, tiramisu, and gelato were absolutely amazing. Why doesn’t it taste the same at home? While searching for our next afternoon snack, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: a cozy spot called “Mr. 100 Tiramisu” with 100 varieties of tiramisu. If you’re ever in Rome, search for it.
Rain or shine, Rome exceeded all my expectations!
